After valve reducers operate for a long time, gaps may form in the gear wheels and shafts due to heavy loads, causing loud noise and knocking during the first movements. This can cause wear on gears and shafts, affecting their function. Similar problems in smart gearboxes with electric motors and operating at 4-20 mA may cause motor or board failures for different reasons. Due to these various reasons, various malfunctions may occur in the reducers and they need to be repaired.
In the maintenance and repair of reducers, initial on-off tests, motor starting and 4-20 mA card tests are performed. Detected defective parts are identified and included in the due diligence report. The reducer is completely disassembled and a detailed cleaning is performed. Gears, drive shafts and defective bearings that need to be replaced are produced and assembled on CNC machines.
