TECHNICIAL SPECIFICATIONS
This machine, which is our own invention, has a completely portable structure and is used in surface and hole grinding operations by connecting to the valve body. It is specially designed for the repair of globe, slide, rotary, V-control ball and high performance butterfly valves operating at low, medium and high pressure.
The machine has two different models. The first model is used to repair valves from 1/2 to 12 inches, while the second model is used to repair valves from 12 to 30 inches.
The machine consists of three main parts and is very easy to transport and assemble. It can correct the deformed parts on the seat and plug by grinding. Depending on the type of valve to be repaired, high-speed abrasive wheels with different angles and characteristics can be installed on the spindle shaft.
The first main part is the machine centering table. Depending on the valve type, it is connected to the valve body via the cover or flange section. With the reference taken from the machined surface diameter on the valve body and the comparator runout removal method, the machine shaft is easily brought to the seat center with a 360-degree rotary table movement with an accuracy of ±0.01 in the full circular diameter.
The machine has movement in four axes. It approaches the broken or torn or deformed seat ring by sliding the stone A, which is touched from a single point, and grinds the seat diameter surface with the B axis 360 degrees, removing the pass and eroding the ring diameter and its surroundings. Rotating motion is made with the spindle shaft at a rotation speed of 8,500 rpm and the surroundings of the seat ring hole are cleaned with circular angle or flat grinding, made shiny and runout-free, and smoothed. A repaired result is achieved in a short time. Y axis is for gate valve repairs, angle degrees are given on this axis.
By rotating the seat ring 360 degrees circularly at full diameter and touching the shaft from a single point, a minimum of 0.02 mm and a maximum of 0.15 mm of wear are made in the first pass movement, and correction is achieved in 5 or 8 turns, and the repair takes 10-15 minutes. It happens in a short time. The floor surface of the seat ring is extremely clean and leak-tightly repaired.

Additionally, an air cooling system is used to maintain the chemistry and hardness of the metal during the etching process. This increases the protection of the high-speed bearings in the spindle spindle and the durability of the machines.
